CGE is seeking highly motivated and dynamic individuals to join our team as IT Interns. This internship program offers an exciting opportunity for aspiring IT professionals to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and challenging environment. The IT Interns will work closely with our IT team to support various IT projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing the Commission's technological capabilities.
- Assist in troubleshooting hardware and software issues for staff members.
- Provide technical support for computer systems, networks, and other IT infrastructure.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of software applications.
- Help manage and maintain IT inventory, including hardware and software assets.
- Assist in the development and implementation of IT security measures.
- Collaborate with team members on IT projects and initiatives.
- Provide basic training and support to staff members on IT-related matters.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in the IT field.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Strong interest in IT and eagerness to learn new technologies.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Prior experience in IT support or a related field is an advantage but not required.
